We stayed for 5 nights with three families (girls ranging from 7-13) and had an amazing vacation. The house is comfortable, well-appointed and large enough to have privacy yet intimate enough to spend quality time in the common areas. We would highly recommend a stay here, and Luxury Retreats took excellent care of us before and during our stay.

We loved staying in the house. It is like having a boutique hotel all for yourselves. The pool is amazing, with an unparalleled view. The people in Dominical who took care of us were outstanding. sara was extremely helpful with the house, her daughter Aileen babysat for our small children (who loved her and ask about her now that we are home), Junior organized wonderful private activities for our family. It was a fantastic holiday!

A True Gem This house is amazing and I love that its construction is mirrored around a massive common area and outdoor/pool space. Such a sweet place that we will be back to for sure!

This villa was absolutely beautiful. Even with a large party of 14, the house felt open, airy and light-filled. The gathering spaces in the living room, kitchen and by the pool made our time together there truly special. The pool was exquisite, as was the entire outdoor area. We took many a nap on the couches by the pool, sheltered from the hot sun but tickled by the overhead fan and natural breeze. Others did yoga in the grassy area outside with a view of the beach, and still others tanned on the lounge chairs while reading a book. At the end of the day, we gathered at the large dining table outside and enjoyed a meal. It was simply a dream. The location was wonderful. We were in the middle of the jungle and spotted iguanas and birds all around us. The nearest grocery store was less than a 5 minute drive, and a plaza with shops and restaurants was only 10 minutes away. We also walked to the beach in 25 minutes, and rode to Nuayaca Waterfalls in just 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

Beautiful villa, breathtaking ocean views, miles and miles of pristine beaches - Ventanas villa had it all - beauty, charm and adventure! The iguanas become your friends and don't seem to mind that you are invading their space. The beach is a short walk and so peaceful in the morning. The area is quiet, friendly yet has many nearby attractions (surfing, zip lining, animal sanctuaries, whale and dolphin watching) with no shortage of things to do. Whether you want to relax or find adventure - both are easy to do in Dominical. I would definitely recommend a 4 by 4 as getting to the villa and restaurants could easily be an amusement park roller coaster ride.

Ventanas Villa fit 10 of us comfortably and happily for our 4 day vacation. Everything was clean and luxurious. 100% was a must, and Ventanas Villa provided that for us. Bathrooms were large, kitchen was exactly what we needed.

Our group of 8 had a fabulous time in Dominical and were very impressed with Villa Ventanas. There was easily room for a larger group. We had a building contractor in our group and he couldn’t stop talking about the quality of construction The property is exactly as advertised, or perhaps even nicer. Will return.

The place is absolutely stunning! The structure of the home, in my eyes, is perfection. It is an ideal destination for a family vacation. One week is just not enough time because it is that wonderful! Flora is amazing at providing references for different activities (Jonny is the man when it comes to adventures!). My family was extremely comfortable here and the time spent will be treasured. Thank you for extending your gorgeous home and hospitality (Sarah is extremely warm and welcoming).

Firstly, the house is consistent with how it’s advertised. Communication between traveling and host was great. Everyone was trustworthy and accommodating. I could stop there because that’s really all that matters to me. I would go back 100 times over. But just to be thorough I would like to add some travel or tips. None of the safes worked and we finally had to use the main one in pantry and use the master key. So if you have more items than will fit in one you might be in a bind. The refrigerator stopped working for two days while we were there and we couldn’t a repair guy. That certainly didn’t ruin my vacation but maybe you need a heads up because it started working again miraculously. So you might be in the same position. An easy fix is to just by groceries for one or two days at a time. Next tip is the washing machine on the north side of the house (facing the pool to the right side) does not wash clothes. They will come out as dirty as you put them in. That didn’t stop us from having a fabulous time either. Just simply share the washing machine on the other side of the house. Lastly, the house seems cleaned out. So don’t count on benefitting from what other travelers leave behind. You will be buying from scratch. I did leave some alcohol for the next traveler and I hope they received my gift. And there is no iron. If you have a little hand held, you will need to bring it We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful experience. Adriana always made sure if we needed anything before taking off for the trip. She gave us valuable information about restaurants and excursions that we could take while in Costa Rica. The house was wonderful and Junior made sure he was available if we needed anything. However, The maid asked us what time that we wanted her to show up. She kept coming earlier and earlier everyday. Also, at times there were no towels for the bedrooms and for the pool area. Overall, she cleaned the house but I felt she was not that attentive to detail about making sure our needs were being met.

What a wonderful home! We were a party of 12 and we were all very comfortable here during our stay. Everything was as described and the concierge and staff were very friendly and helpful. Not to (Website hidden by Airbnb) incredible view and easy access to Dominical. We'll definitely be back soon!
